John Deere L118 jerks, clicking noise (with Video)

Looking for some help, I'm a John Deere newbie. I started dabbling with a complete rebuild of a mower deck, and a rocker gasket and head gasket replacement -- so that's how inexperienced I am.

Quits running when hot

Snapper 281123bve with newer engine 13.5 intek. I just bought this used and am having issues where it quits running after about 10 minutes. I’ve tried cleaning the carburetor and loosening the gas cap. I also checked for spark. Not as blue as I would like but seems good enough. Anyone have any suggestions?

Half stuck engine

Alright...
I’m going crazy. I had a fuel float issue and had gas mixing with my oil. Fixed the issue, cleaned the oil out, and ran it for a few seconds to burn the rest out and turned the mower off. I added fresh oil and when I go to start it, it will click and try and turn but won’t move. I can manually turn it halfway backwards and half way forwards and when I go go as far as it will let me I hear a loud bang - like metal on metal. I have tried manually turning it and it won’t budge. Hi everyone!!!
I'm new to the forum. Trying to get 2 motors going after not running for over 5 years and when I put fuel in its leaking out of the carburettor/float bowl.
I've changed the float bowl gasket and the air cleaner gasket but its still leaking.
Any ideas???
