Is this normal for a new TORO Recycler Mower??

Just purchased a new TORO Recycler 20340 Mower with the B&S 163cc engine. I have only used it twice, but each time after the engine has run about 4-5 minutes, the engine will briefly sputter about a half second or so like it is running out of gas, then run normally once again for about the same time period and repeat the same scenario. It has brand new fresh gas that I put into it so I seriously doubt it is a bad gas issue. Otherwise the engine runs just fine, and it uses a lot less gas than...

HRN Smart Drive, How does it work (vary travel speed)?

On the new Honda HRN (i.e. HRN216) series movers how does Smart Drive vary the mowers travel speed? Seems like I heard that it's a slipping belt system and
the transmission pivots to tighten the belt. The tighter the belt the faster the mower moves.
If that's true, that design doesn't keep the pullies aligned (parallel) which is seems to violate design rules. Prevent the belt from coming off a pulley?

Could find only minor mention of it after searching this forum.

Sump gasket bolt tightening sequence and torque

I have a B&S 33S877-0013 engine in a Husqvarna CTH2138HR ride on. I am about to replace the cam in the engine and have a new sump gasket, oil seal, etc. I can't find the tightening sequence for the sump bolts. Does anyone have a diagram or point me to one?
What are the torque specs for tightening the the belt pulley bolt and engine mounting screws on the frame?

Appreciate your help.

Sears 42" Deck Belt too short

I had a deck belt wear out on my Kohler engine 15.5hp 42" deck. I ordered another belt online since the original manual says the belt is 88" belt. The belt came in today and seemed a hair too short but did fit.
The belt is too short and the belt spins the blades some before I lift the engage lever. But the lever did lock in place so I started cutting the grass.

the belt broke in 20 minutes.

If the book says 88" but the belt is too short what does one do now?
